WE HAVE ARRIVED IN SINGAPORE!!!
Alright, first official entry from our travels. We have landed in Singapore, after being brought through L.A. for 3 hours, and a quick stop in Tokyo ( That we didn't know about...) Our internal clocks and eating schedule say noon on Wednesday Sept 10th, however the clock on the wall that we stare at says 2:00 am Thursday Sept. 11th. PWHEF! It's also a nice cool 27 degrees, and humid humid humid! 😊
The flight overall was good, we are both exremely impressed with the Singapore Airlines, not only was the service fantastic, but the entertainment, and provided toiletries was a nice surprise. Blankets, pillows, toothbrushes, and in our case, a WHOLE extra seat, for us to stretch out in. (Trust us, after 11 hours in the air, it came in handy!!)
Watched a few films, and played some video games en route. J.M has mastered Indonesian... well as mastered as he can be for someone who hasn't actually gotten to the country yet. hehehehe. However, he proudly counts to 1000, knows the days of the week, and months, so hey! It's a start!
The Singapore airport is amazingly clean, and modern. Free internet, xbox, sports lounges, and much more. We saw 80 year old Kois in a pond that was quite spectacular along a rainforest type backdrop. This is in the MIDDLE of the airport. You take sky trains to get to the terminals, and food service is 24 hours, as we just enjoyed a huge bowl of chicken and noodle soup for a mere 7 dollars!
We'll post some pictures once in Bali. For now, we are off to find big comfy chairs and or loungers, to rest before the last leg of our trip to Bali. Over half way there, and we are beyond excited.
The first thing I know we will be looking for is the cheap massages on the beach, and probably a shower.

hey guys!!!!! yay! i'm so excited for you! Thanks for updating the blog and i expect you to continue doing this every half hour on your trip. thanks. haha but holy! i wish i was with you guys! luckily i get to work instead. THANK GOD. haha Jean Michel you can count to 1000 now? memorized?!! when did this happen? that's awesome!!!! i can still count to 10. and say hello. anyways i miss you guys! XOXOXO
