Ahh the joys of travelling. We have just spent the last 30mins writing and the interent crashed so we have to write this again. !! Any way, after a brillent trip down the Mekong river in Laos , where we spent the night in a small fishing village and were offered dope and opium by 12 yr olds as well as getting invited to a local wedding where the people all dance as if they actually were on opium or dope we arived in Laung Prabang and made our way through virgin forest and great mountains to Vang Vieng where we spent a week sitting on the river bank, eating , drinking and sunbathing as well as visiting caves, tubing and biking ( Some tV as well ). It was then of to Vientienne, possible the smallest capital weve ever been then a flight to Hanoi where the temperature and weather was horrible. It went from 30 C to 14 C in 1 hr and was bloody cold for us. In hanoi we visited Halong Bay and a Perfume Pagoda. We then went down the coast but due to flooding and cold weather we decided to fly to Saigon where we are now and happy to say that it is 30 C. Hoi Ann was cool with plenty of tailors and souvineer shops. The shopping has been great here but the people vey pushy and treat you as a walking cash machine. It has also rained for 5 days constant so cant wait for the beach. LAst night we went to a restutrant where on the menu was goats penis, scorpion, and fried rat. Yum, Yum !!! went to the Vietcom tunnels the other day. Very small under ground. I also fired of a few rounds on a Ak 47.

Wycieczka statkiem po rzece Mekong byla super, taka wielka impreza.Laos zachwycil nas goracym klimatem,sloniami i pieknymi gorami.Lodzia plynelismy 2 dni i spalismy w malej wiosce gdzie prad wylaczaja juz o 9.30,male dzieci sprzedawaly nam opium i wszyscy zostalismy zaproszeni na wesele gdzie miejscowi tanczyli w powolnym narkotycznym transie.Tak dotarlismy do Lung Prabang,ktore bylo niczym specjalnym.Za to Vang Vieng zachwycilo nas ,to mala osada otoczona gorami z rzeka w srodku.Tam byczylismy sie na brzegu rzeki,opalajac sie i jedzac kosmiczne ciasteczka.Na kartach dan w restauracjach pelno bylo Happy pizza,herbatek z opium itp.Brak krzesel w restauracjach ,tylko lozka dla turystow na haju ogladajacych "friends".Potem udalismy sie do Vientane ,ktore jest najmniejsza stolica na swiecie.Polecielismy do Hanoi w Wietnamie gdzie zlapala nas okropna pogoda z 30 zrobilo sie 14 i na dodatek lalo i lalo.Zobaczylismy Halong Bay,ktora byla cudowna ale zamarzalismy.Powoli wiec udalismy sie wzdluz wybrzerza,niestety nic nie zobaczylismy bo ciagle lalo i bylo bardzxo zimno.W Ho Ian dalismy krawcom zarobic ,to taka tutejsza turystyczna atrakcja.Niestety nie mielismy sily na przedzieranie sie przez powodzie i wskoczylismy na samolot do Ho Chi Minh City czyli Saigon,ktory jest typowym miastem ,nic szczegolnego.Jutro wybieramy sie w strone Cambodzy znowu lodzia przez 2 dni,ma byc bardzo interesujaco.Bylismy na tutejszym grillu-restauracji,ktory serwowal smazone szczury,skorpiony,koziego penisa,zolwie,zaby i wszelkie robactwo.Nigdy sie nie dowiem co naprawde zjadlam choc zamowilam wolowine .Byla pyszna ,ale kto to wie... Tak naprawde Wietnamjest wspanialym miejscem na zakupy!!!!

Looks like you are having a good time there except obviously for the weather conditions. Well it can't be easy all the time and you need to have a bit of struggle to be able to enjoy the trip to the max when good things arrives. Just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to both of you. It will be such a different experience to you to celebrate christmas in such an environment "bangkok".
