Amazing Thailand

Welcome to Amazing Thailand and my poor spelling on a key board that has the starngest alphebet ever. Its been a while since the last update and we have covered a fair bit of ground. Unfortunalty no photos on this one as I havnt had time to download them to disk but their on the way. Since the great TAj MAhal. Worth 2 hrs just sitting there and looking at it, we moved on to Delhi. we were going to up North but the PAkistani earthquake stopped that. We also had a problem in India with our cash cards getting de magnitised on the palne so we had a new card sent to meet us in Delhi where we ran out of money and the card never arrived so had to wait for another one to be couried. Of course Diwali happened and that made the wait longer. The other thing that happened was that while we waited there were 3 bombs in Delhi. Unfortunatley we where only 40m from one of them and were within 7 seconds of being blown up. Luckily we thought with our stomachs and went to the resurant which was in the opposite direction. We did however watch the bodies been brought out and were very shaken by the whole thing. We finnaly made it out of Delhi and decided to go straight to Thailand. Its great here and have had an Amasing 3 weeks. Bankok is great . Weve spent 2 weeks on the beach on a tropical island in our own bamboo hut, gotten tatoos in Bankok, sen fire shows, been on bamboo rafts and Elphant rides throught the jungle, gone rock climbing and done a Thail cooking course. Theres plenty of shopping for Jo to enjoy and the food is great. Its cheap and good quality to travel and we cant wait to come back in amonth. Tomorrow we are of to the Lao border but still got a little shopping to do first. Becuase of the shopping and missing out on Nepal. We are going to be back in NZ a month earilier and will cut down ausstralia by 1 month asw ell. But hay we cant compliain. Both got tasns and ive lost 7 kgs and Jo 2 since leaving London. HAd a Thai massage for 1 hr yesterday but still making my mind up whether it was good or bad!! They really use thier feet , elbows , etc on you to full use. Hope all of you are well and look foward to hearing any news.



Tak wiec pozegnalismy sie z Indiami,na dluzej.Od poczatku mielismy troche pecha szczegolnie z karta do bankomatu,ktora przestala dzialac.Bylismy zmuszeni podrozowac przez Indie na kilku dollarach,nowa karte mielismy dostac w Delhi,ale niestety sie nie pojawila,do tego doszly bomby zaraz przed Diwali ,jedna wybuchla jakies 40m za naszymi plecami.Uratowal nas moj zoladek bo zamiast isc do hotelu w strone bomby poszlismy do resteuracji.Wszedzie panowal chaos ,noszono rannych i zabitych.Bylismy zszokowani i chcielismy oposcic Indie jak naj szybciej.Poniewaz nasz pobyt przedluzyl sie bylismy juz spoznieni na wspinanie sie w Nepalu po Himalajach.Sezon na wedrowki w gorach jest tam bardzo krotki,a w tym roku pora deszczowa byla znacznie dluzsza.Musielismy to odlozyc na dalsze plany.Prosto z Delhi udalsmy sie do Bangkoku.Tutaj jest wspaniale.Bangkok to fantastyczne miasto.Czas leci tu bardzo szybko i przyjemnie.Spedzilismy 2 tyg.na wyspie KOH CHANG mieszkalismy w chatce bambusowej,wytatuowalismy sie w Bangkoku,ogladalsmy pokazy sztuczek z ogiem,jezdilismy na sloniach w dzungli,wspinalismy sie na skaly i gotowalismy tajskie jedzenie.Najlepsze zakupy mozna wlasnie zrobic w Bangkoku no i jedzenie jest super!!Nie mozemy sie doczekac zeby byc tam znowu za miesiac.Smutniejsza strona naszych planow to to ze musimy wrocic do NZ wczesniej niz planowalismy(wydalismy za duzo kasy),musimy tez obciac miesiac z Australi.Teraz jestesmy w Laos w drodze do Wietnamu.O wiele wiecej tu turystow niz w poludniowej ameryce,czasami czuje sie jak w europejskim miescie.Ale tak naprawde to fantastyczne miejca i zabawa.Czekamy na emalie do nas i rzesylamy calusy.Pa!!
