So I fulfilled my requirement as a tourist here when Alf took Karen and I to Symbio Wildlife Refuge, south of Sydney in Wollongong. And can we just say that I loved every second of it!!!!!!!! We won't mind that everyone else there was with little kids; I guess I'm just a kid at heart who eats this stuff up! Didn't get to hold a koala but got to hang out with the kangaroos so I cannot complain.

Afterward, we went to nearby Illawarra to admire the views of the coast from up above, as well as drive along the new coastal bridge that just opened last week.

For dinner we had barbequed kangaroo. No really, we did. In one day I got to play with them and eat them; can't get any better than that! It was pretty good and apparently is about the leanest and healthiest meat one can have. The evening ended with wine on the beach....

Did I mention I love it here?

You think you could hide one of those little koalas in a backpack and bring it back for me? It would look very cute next to my cat.
