We had to take a train to Brussels, and then a train to London. The whole trip took a really long time. We woke up at 6 am and had to get ready and then we finally got to London around 2 pm (1 pm in London time). At least I got to sleep a lot on the train. Cindy and my dad told me that my mouth was hanging open when I was sleeping and they were going to take a picture, but they didn't. So after we arrived here, we walked around looking for the Clink Hostel, which was supposedly a 5 minute walk, but we walked around with our heavy luggage for like 15 minutes before we finally decided to get a taxi. After going to our hostel, we got lunch at a bar. Since you only have to be 18 here to drink, I took a sip of my dad's beer and hated my first sip of beer. Then we went back to the hostel because our rooms weren't ready until 2:30 so we had to put our stuff in them. Hostelbookers.com messed up a bit and we have to change rooms every night. But oh well. The beds seem comfy, but the rooms are small. And our room is orange! It's strange... lol. So anyway then we were going to go to Regent's Park but we kinda went the wrong way and then it started pouring. We found shelter in a courtyard under some trees, but we still got pretty wet. After the rain let up we went back to the train station to find a bathroom. Then we decided to get some ice cream. We were good and only had one scoop. The vanilla was really creamy and better than the vanilla in the US, but the chocolate tasted the same. Good thing I got vanilla! And the spoons were really tiny and shaped like shovels so they made me eat slow and Cindy was complaining that I was taking too long. Oh and also Cindy wanted to go up the escalator and then back down again. But then we just took the lift back down. It was our first time on a "lift!" But it should have been called a drop because it didn't really lift us up. So my dad was really tired and wanted to sit down so me and Cindy wandered a bit. There was this weird place called "Yo Sushi" that had these colored sushi dishes going around on a conveyor belt or something and you just pick one off, it was interesting lol but we didn't get any. Then we went back and took a shower.... and then we went to get some food. Mine was supposed to be a kebab, but it wasn't on a stick... strange... but it still tasted good. Oh and it had those hot green peppers that my mom likes so I finally tried one and they were really yummy, but too spicy! So we didn't really get to do much sightseeing today, but we are getting a lot of exercise doing all this walking!
