Went for a long weekend to Munnar, a hill station in kerala last weekend, many hours in the train, even more in the bus, but finially made it there to the pissing rain. i was freezing, but all good, lots of mountain walks, leeches, tea and homemake chocolate.

also went to a festival in the vilage, all dressed in traditional saris and took part in the local festivities. muchos fun

Liesel in India
Hi there Liesel, hope you received my previous message - took a while how to figure out how to send the message to you, non the less you appear to be having quite an experience, living in India and no doubt eating with the locals etc. pleased to see you have also had some time to do a bit of sight seeing. I envy you being in India - how I would love to be able to shop for my shops there - prices must be unbelievably cheap. Mum says you will soon be heading up to Newcastle on Tyne where Cameron is. Should be great. Cameron is very happy there, loves the city and the people. He in fact moves house yet again at the end of August nearer the coast -forgotten the name of the town. He comes home for 3 weeks on 20 November - can't wait to see him - its been a year since we were there with him. Nats is doing great - studying her beauty down in Assagay near Kloof. She loves the course but then again it is right up her alley. She certainly will have 2 great careers that can operate from home should she wish. She has just again started her swimming season - most of whom are Indians and Africans. So long Liesel, enjoy your last few weeks in India and keep the email current!! Lots of love the DAYS
