Grate Ocean Road

We're just at the ferry terminal waiting for our ferry to depart in about half an hour to Kangaroo Island. Unfortunately the weather is a bit poo and the sea looks extremely choppy even in port so I expect I'll be a nervous wreck (shouldn't say that word) the whole crossing.
So far the road trip has been lovely but once again i'm using a computer that doesn't take piccies so people will have to wait!
On Monday we arrived at this lovely little fishing village called Port Fairy that had lots of lovely people in it (e.g. we asked the barman in a pub how much it cost to have a game of pool. He told us $3 and got the money out of the till and gave it to us! Then a woman put some tunes on a juke box and said to me, I've left a couple of songs for you to choose!). I was also interviewed for the local newspaper on my views of the scares Qantas have been having (I told the reporter I was apprehensive esp as we fly domestic with them on Monday and International the monday after!).
We arrived at our next destination, 'Robe' yesterday and yet again another really divine place. The owners of the cottage we were staying in were obviously very trusting as they weren't there but had left a note for us saying the keys were in the door and to 'make ourselves at home"!
During our road trip I''ve been stunned at what people get away with on the radio, there's been loads of adverts for correcting errection, improving your sex life etc. And the language they use, they often say f@%k and one station has a 'shitty trivia' segment!
Forgot to say last time that when we pulled into our first destination on Sunday, Ben was randomly pulled over by the police and breath tested! Of course he passed with flying colours!
Right off to the ferry - wish us luck.....
