My first day out of the country turns into two along the way.

There is a fine line between being tired, and being exhausted. And I, my friends, know what being TRUELY exhausted feels like. The time zones were a trip along themselves and going against them makes up the time that apparently I missed! I made it to Finland and I will stay here for about a week and then I travel to Estonia- the real place where I will be spending my year. As for pictures, I will upload more when I have more time. As for Finland, it is beautiful. Absolutely wonderful. It is rainy right now so it is very cool, not cold yet. I went through Germany and took a few pictures outside the plane I got on, on the tarmack. I only spent a few seconds actually outside of Germany, just to board the plane. Although the weather there was very cool as well. I grabbed some dark chocolate for mum, so if you're reading, I have that for you, yet I don't know when you will get it. It is so... beautiful- repetitive I know, yet true. I wish I could take you guys here and show you how it is. I have had the most fantastic experience with flying too! Lufthansa was such an enjoyable flight! The people were so polite and just a very cosy type of enviornment. It was so nice flying with them because they gave out most excellent meals and had pillow and blankets waiting for us on our seats. Not that I was able to actually fall asleep. Ha! What a joke. It must be close to 7:30pm here, yet my computer hasn't adjusted yet and the time still reads 11:34am. I do miss you all and wish the best for you right now! 😊

Congratulations!
It is great to hear that you made it in one piece -OK maybe two! I'll bet you are tired. Several of us tracked your flight on the internet. The jet you were on was travelling at 541 knots! Really moving along... We are all watching for your postings here - this was a great idea! Love you!
