Hey everyone. Ok, so I FINALLY stayed in on the last night of a city. How about that?! I woke up feeling quite refreshed today. However, last night I planned on doing laundry. Unfortunately, I ended up hanging out with people from the hostel and didn’t get to it.
So this morning I had to wake up at about 9 or 9:30 since checkout was at 10. Since my bus wasn’t until 1:30, I got some breakfast and just hung out at the hostel taking full advantage of the free wifi. Took some time to update the blog, checked emails, and chatted with some of my night owl friends that were still awake in the states.

At about 1 Andy and I headed to the station and caught our train. The ride was pretty uneventful. I just listened to music, blogged a little bit, watched part of a movie, etc. Next thing I knew, BAM, we were in Prague. I was pretty excited to see this city since so many people said it was great. Also, the fact that the women in Prague were supposed to be beautiful might have had something to do with it as well haha.

After arriving at the train station Holosevice, we took the metro 5 stops to I.P. Pavlova. Luckily our hostel was about 2 blocks from there so we didn’t have to walk much with our packs on. We checked in and set out looking for dinner. We ended up following a recommendation from the guy at the front counter and went to a real typical restaurant called U Suda or U Soda (can’t remember).
I had a plate that had meat and pasta (pretty much ribs and gnocchi). Oh……. My……..god……… it tasted horrible. The meat smelled and tasted like Dirty wet socks. Ok, well, I shouldn’t say it tasted horrible, that throws a value added judgement on someone else’s culture. Let’s just say, the food and my palette were not in agreement.

After dinner, Andy was too tired to do anything, so he went up to his room to sleep. Originally, I planned on just staying in and relaxing, but I ended up getting kind of anxious to explore the city once I got back to my room. So I figured I’d just walk to the Old Town Center and get a little familiar with the city. That’s exactly what I did. I walked by the touristy Wenceslas Square and then to the Old Town Square. The area was packed.

I kept getting approached by club promoters. I almost gave in and went, but I then realized I was pretty damn tired. I walked the Old Town Square for a little bit, then went back to the hostel to get some rest. I figured I'd take over Prague tomorrow.
