Sorry i've been MiA recently.

First of all, i've been reading this vampire trilogy that has had me enthralled. Couldn't understand when Ben and Arielle were compulsively reading, but now i get it. "The Twilight Saga" by Stephanie Meyer. Twilight. New Moon. Eclipse. Annnnd, coming Aug 2nd, Breaking Dawn, dun dun DUN!

Second of all, my laptop's "i" button has finally gone kaput and it's maddening to have to cut and paste an "i" everytime i need one. Takes all the fun out of blogging and emailing.

Not entrely sure how t'll work wthout the button. You have no dea how many i's there are n every sentence you try to type.

Ugh.

yes, well, even though they shut everythng down here, doesn't mean the factories in surrounding industrial cities have been shut down. been a nice breeze from the south recently, which i assume is blowing it in from tianjin and shanghai and everywhere else that's NOT beijing. VERY curious to see how it plays out.

Green Sludge
Here in kiwiland, where there are approximately 8 medal hopefuls, everyone is talking about the green algae/sludge stuff in the sailing/rowing harbour (where the kiwis hope to win about 6 of those medals.) Is there any news from your way about that phemonenon?
