so after the kids left us last weekend, we chilled out for a couple of hours in the kitchen (as the cook had left so it was our first time to have a good ol´ nose around!) and then michelle, orla and i got ready to hit the town... it would have been quite scary to stick around in the education centre for the entire evening as it reminds me a bit of the place in´the shining´... i thought i was the only person to pick up on this but jamil, one of the other teachers, also made a comment about it and then said that he´d gone out earlier in the day to pick up the dvd as he thought he would creep himself out in the evening by watching it alone... nutter. so i made sure i helped him as much as possible by sneaking into the office and shouting lines from the movie over the loudspeaker... hehehe
so our night out in burgos was hilarious... well, what i can remember of it anyway... we certainly had a great time dancing to all the spanish songs and sampling various beers, cocktails and shots... uhhhh. we ended up staying out till about 6am - totally didn´t realise that we´d been out for so long!
we paid the price the next day though as we all felt quite ill and could only manage a stumble to the park and back! next week, i´ll limit myself to just a few drinks!
so the new kids arrived on monday and we took bets on who we thought were going to be troublemakers -just from the sound of their names... turns out i was spot on with my prediction of javier - he had to sit on his own during dinner last night! on the whole, they´re not a bad group of kids... although i´m missing some of the funny characters from the previous group. tomorrow, we´re taking them on a day trip to Lerma, which i´m really looking forward to as i heard it´s supposed to be a beautiful little town.

Hi, I thought you wasn't drinking ever again. It sounds like your having fun and getting paid for it AGAIN! We have our own Forest School classroom now so me and trace have spent 2 days in the hols making it look fantastic, you would be impressed! Vik and Dil have been here today, we are taking them to the seaside on Tuesday just for the day. I have to go as the dog has farted and it really smells in here. speak later luv hel
