A worse hail storm! It hurts!

Last evening we were struck with a fierce rain, wind, and hail storm. Our damage is illustrated in the pictures as attached. While it is disappointing to lose our hobby garden, it is a huge loss to the farmers in our area.

Over 1" of rain in about 20 minutes. Wind-whipped hail did a lot of damage

and the garden is devastated. All except for one cucumber plant and one tomato plant protected by the two wash tubs thrown over them prior to the onslaught.

Stones were not too large here. Some were about 3/4 the size of golf balls. Some in the area were huge, the size of baseballs by one report
