Blue skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see

This is not a song sung by Beijingers very often. BUT GUESS WHAT?! Today there are BLUE SKIES, NO POLLUTION, WISPY DELICATE CLOUDS and a nice breeze! It's 8:30am on a Sunday; I'm the only one awake so far, but hott damn! We can't waste this day!!!

Tiananmen? Great Wall? 798? THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!

We were planning to go shopping at Panjiayuan'r for trinkets, paintings and more cultural revolution kitsch than you can shake a stick at. And that might still happen.

EEE! OH! And I now have my battery charger back, and thus I have my own camera back in action baby!

BLUUUUUUE SKIES! Yes!
OMG! YES, blue skies! And ALL of the colors on the streets! You shot some great pics, Molly! Just don't forget to pass the camera around so we see YOU there, too, ok? Umm, while you're missing MO on some days, remember, too, the mornings @ 82* w/humidity of 90%! EEWWW. It's been a swampy summer so far! BUT, yes, flowers everywhere! And every shade of GREEN! Hoping it's still green by Aug. 15th!
