We thought we would let you know our general daily routine.
We get up at about 8am have our showers. Andy then tidies the van and wakes the van up to make sure it starts whilst I make lunch and breakfast. Andy comes and joins me and he has his toast, 4 slices, and a cup of tea whilst I have cereal and a cup of water and we sit outside to eat, as it is now sunny most of the time. I then pack up the cool box with our bits out of the fridge, do sit ups, load up the van and set off. Either for a day of driving or tours or sight seeing. We stop for lunch on our drive in lovely places from cliff tops to beaches to lakes. We normally get to our destination about 4ish, look around the place get booked in. Then dinner, either we cook seperately, most of the time, or we cook one meal together. Then we go for a walk, if there is some where nice to walk to then tv room before bed.
Today was a day of driving. We drove 20km to Fox glacier. This was a

much smaller town and less busy. We had a walk to view the glacier, it looked pretty much the same. They do the same tours here but cheaper. if we had known it was the same we probably would have walked on this one. But we enjoyed it so we're not bothered.
From here we drove to Haast to get on the Haast pass which was a scenic drive past waterfalls, snow topped mountains, bush covered hills (the size of mountains) and clear blue lakes.
We arrived at our destination, Wanaka, at about 5.30pm tired. But we still walked down to the supermarket to get food and drink for a bbq! Yes we had our second BBQ and it was lovely. Andy had some beers and I had half a bottle of wine.
We then watched a bit of Austin Powers Gold Member and then went to bed.

DECEMBER!!!! It is going so quick!
We opened our advent calenders this morning and we plan to decorate the van tonight.
This morning we went round the town and on the internet to get updated for you lot.
3 hours later we went and had our lunch on the beautiful

lake side beach, it was so hot. We sunbathed a while and then drove to Stuart Landsboroughs Puzzle World, in Wanaka. This was fun. There were different illusion rooms, for example, one room you walk into one door and you appear tiny and a person walks to the other side of the room and they appear giant! This was how they did it on The Lord of The Rings. There were lots of holograms and logic puzzles. There was a maze, 1.5km, and the average person walks 3-5km trying to find the 4 towers and then find their way out. It was difficult but Andy led us well and we got out eventually.
After a long day we drove to Queenstown. We arrived there at 7.45pm, got booked into 'the best holiday park in New Zealand'. Had some tea, watched tv and bed.

This morning we had a look around Queenstown, not a lot to see really. We went to the supermarket and then headed off to Te Anau.
We arrived at Te Anau (the gateway to Milford Sound) after a 4 hours drive from Queenstown. We went to the information centre and had a walk around the

small town, full of tourist shops. We went and booked into a site. We got a non-powered site, to save money, but we still plugged in!! SNEAKY!
We had our tea, chillie beans and rice for Andy, soup for Mel. Chillie beans not so good for a small confined van! Watched tv, rung our parents, which was good!

Mel's had one too many! This room was strange, made me feel ill. I'm actually stood vertical as the level shows behind me.

Andy's case of piles is proving too much!
