After 98 days, 4 countries and 25 flights; this is it... The last day of my travels! Feels so weird to think that tomorrow afternoon I'm going to be boarding my flight (#26) to HK and then onto London Heathrow - landing at the oh so sociable time of 5:30am on Wednesday morning. Have checked the bbc website and the weather looks like it'll be suitably rubbish too (nothing like a welcome home rain shower or 7!).

I'm in Sydney (again) at the moment and have worked out that I've been here a total of six times whilst on my travels - and I'm very embarrassed to say that until today I hadn't walked across the Harbour Bridge (and also paid A$9.50 for the pleasure of climbing up the Pylon thing too). The weather has been lovely in Sydney since I landed on Sunday afternoon, and walking across the bridge was amazing - although would probably recommend that other people planning on doing the same don't do what I did and walk across it at a time of day other than when the whole of Sydney CBD seems to be on their lunchtime run. Taking photos was a little bit of an effort as you're trying to stop, look up whilst at the same time avoid being run over by people coming at you from both directions (and the pathway isn't that wide either).

Treated myself to a very yummy lunch at Peter Doyles @ The Quay, which was a perfect place to soak up the sunshine and people watch; all done whilst admiring the view of the Harbour Bridge to your left and the Opera House to your right. Then just because I went shopping! Didn't buy too much, well I already know that I'm taking two suitcases back (instead of the one that I came out with)...

I guess that the last blog is when people reflect and comment on the things that they've enjoyed most about their trip. I don't think that I'm ready to do this yet, as everything won't probably sink in properly until I've shown friends and family my photos (hum, there are quite a lot of them) and also relay the stories of my trip. However, I would say that I've had a totally amazing time away and don't regret quitting my job to do this at all - just a little bit in denial about the fact that I need to find a new job now when I'm back in London!

So that is all from me... See you in London.

Have a safe trip home. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday. Unfortunately I don't think my two week honeymoon tan is going to compete with your 3 month one!
