Woohoo! Well, I got packed up this morning , had some breakfast downstairs where everyone wanted photos with me, and then it was time to go!

Now I'm here with the german shepherd mix, Chloe, while the Canadian owner and her son are off galavanting through China and Russia via the Trans Siberian train.

And I just did laundry! Yay clean clothes!

And I took Chloe for a walk, and there are like a ton of big dogs here. Collies, shepherds, huskies, and they provide little bags for you to clean up after your dog! I was told she could go off leash, but our first time out, thought I should keep her on... not sure of protocol around here. We went around this building once before it started raining, so we came back in. We're on the 22nd floor, so plenty of people getting on and off the elevator. The old women were asking where I'm from and were commenting on my Chinese abilities - which they deemed bucuo! Which means "not bad" which is infinitely more flattering than the patronizing "hen hao!"

And yay high speed broadband! Boo my ghetto disabled "i" button. I find myself trying to write sentences without using the letter "i", but that is impossible .

I am going to attempt to do another small load of laundry and figure out the TV/VCR sitch.

Yay!

I just chatted with Arielle and she's leaving for el aeropuerto in Mexico City! Layover in Jersey with theClo and Peilin and then here she coooooomes!

Now back to the Bourne Identity...

her english name is c****, and she rocks. she is just a very cool person. she speaks english with an english accent, which is strange... and she always speaks chinese to me first, which is nice.
