We started our day really early today with a 4:00 AM wake-up to get a jump on the heat. Of course just as we got loaded up and were pulling out of Roland it started raining, but we rode out and ahead of the front quickly. But it was overcast and actually quite chilly as we rode until about 7:30 AM.

We rode about 420 miles and about the last 200 miles were in a vicious cross wind that just wore us out. When we got to our motel room I sat down on the bed and was nodding off about 2 seconds later, we James waking me up 2 seconds after that to go eat. If you come through Amarillo you have to eat at the Big Texan Steakhouse! Well it has been a rough day and I need rest, so I will be back tomorrow, good night all. Jack.

I barley got the photos uploaded tonight I have six videos that I will upload when we get to Farmington tomorrow.

Tuesday June 24th, 2008 the video's have been uploaded!
