Our first province sign. Expect a few more. Our first stop on the trip was the spectacular and HUGE Percé Rock. Too bad for us that the tide was in and we couldn't walk out to really appreciate the grandure of it. We parked at a cheap motel and walked along the beach, where we made sure to touch the Atlantic Ocean (or the closest thing to the Atlantic ocean)! The pictures really don't do it justice, it is quite massive and very cool looking. There used to be a second hole, but it collapsed. That must have been quite the scene!
After taking our pictures with the rock, we headed out to see another interesting rock formation. A crevass at the top of the hill overlooking the Perce area. It was a nice hike to get down to the creavass, about 30 minutes one way, with many beautiful look-out points along the way. The crevass is actually quite the spectacle being about 80 feet deep, and has a great view behind it. Even with Mel saying no, I walked out to the edge of the cliff. WHAT A VIEW! It is where our adventure started lol quick stop all together, so we headed off to Forillon National Park, and had our first dinner picnic along the way 😊
