Goodbye and T5

Hi All, I'm writing to you from the wonderful and shiny T5 in Heathrow, I'm saying this because it is nice and new and shiny and because I don't want to jinx our transit through it. My language will deteriorate drastically if the nightmares of before are reinacted in a bagage hall in St. Petersburg sometime later on and all the good things I've said about T5 will become null and void.
So as you've guessed we're finally on our way out of Europe and onto to Russia, although it is technically part European/part Asian. We'd like to say a huge thank you to all of our family and friends that fed, housed and quenched our thirsts over the past week or so. I'm sorry the video of the magic road didn't come up yet, hopefully soon. Thanks for all the hospitality, cards, presents, (needles and syringes included thanks BE hopefully we won't need them) and good wishes. A special thank you to John Cotter Maeve's Grandad who gave me an especially generous glass of whiskey. It was so full I couldn't get much water in it to take the edge off, there must have been 3 and a half shots in it. It was definitely more Beatha than Uisce Beatha. Alan noticed my nose was still glowing a day afterwards.
I saw my first Airbus A380 this morning , I can actually see it from here but it's too far away to take a decent picture. We did take a few pictures of an Audi R8 and a georgous Ferrari 430. I told Maeve to look all natural as if it was hers and to pose like she was just about to take it out for a bit of shopping, as the boot was open she pretended to put one of our bags in, good job I pointed out that its a mid-engineed sports car (engine is in the back) and I'll have to finish this story off again as I'm about to run out of money, bye.
