showering in the rainshowering in the rainshowering in the rain

yeah baby. 3 days ago before the great flood of thailand
So Thailand seems to be very dry in the day... but come the evening its a completely different story. 3 nights we have had consecutive 30-60 minutes bursts of rain. The last one being the worst...

all the storms had been the same before this one and although this one started off slow it soon picked up. we had a joke that we would all have to leave and be evacuated and everyones stuff might get wet etc, sad thing is it actually happened!

the guys and I were lucky because our room is in front of some grass so it took longer to flood, so we were able to move our stuff. it flooded because the river nearby burst its banks and caused there to be a lot more water in the ground. some of the girls were not as lucky, however, as they were on the concrete side of the building, which ended up in places to have shin deep water.

so we were evacuated from the brown house and went to the twin house where we had an awesome night of drinking to laugh/drown our sorrows at the days events

next day we went to the monastery where we stayed for the whole day with some monks. we did some meditaion which was fun but extremely fustrating at the same time because it did take a lot of concentration.
we stayed overnight in the monastery and came back this morning, where we have been chilling at twin house, our new home for the duration of our stay in Sing Buri.

Havent uploaded pics for a while but i will when i have a bit more time - might put some up now but i have a few emails to write.

hope all is well at home.

speak soon

jon

Teh bestest comment ever
Ello poppet! Looks like amazing fun, im still waiting on the pictures of Ben with his ladyboy, i assume he'll bring it back as a Thai Bride. See if you can monkey-nap me an elephant (see what i did there). England is rubbish, ive got exams and im actually having to do work for them. Boo hiss. Spent the last week revising, rubbish. We also had our own monsoon season, but no floods. The obvious answer to your staircase thingy is to choose wealth and then buy the other two, clearly the best option. Anyway, ive subscribed to this bloggy thing so i get email updates about your uploads, yippeee! what you doing for your birthday? Do you know, or is it too far ahead to be planned? Love love xxxxx

iv got my last exam in 6hours and cant sleep through excitement, also thailand looks goooooooooood
the picture of you and that elephant jon, reminds me of when ryan came to warwick and got with someone!!! looks well cool do they smell?from what i remember from paington zoo they have huge cocks. did you know there is an elephant somewhere, most probably thailand that can paint pictures, it does flowers, trees n shit like dat. i think it was on news round. weather has been shit here/getting better, no floods but someone died here the other week, i didn't know them though. they got so drunk they died weird way to go. but on a positive note our cricket team won our first match the other day, mainly due to the recruitment of our pakastani wonder bowlers. i got 3 runs, which should also be noted. make sure u learn lots of rude thai words and get me a present. also hope the whole many girls to one boy situation is working well.wink wink.much love xxxx
