Exploring Antibes

Bonjour everyone! Naturally, since I just started work last week, we already have a 5 day long weekend. It's the French way, they say May is all holidays and the rest of the summer everyone is on strike 😊

So we've been exploring Antibes in our time off. We took a bus down to the Cap d'Antibes, which is the tip of the peninsula, and walked around the rocky shores and got lots of pictures. Yesterday we visited the Museum of Archeology in Antibes. We snapped one picture before being warned by the staff that cameras were not allowed! We spent the rest of our time reading on the beach and enjoying the nice weather. Yesterday we had some amazing mussels at a local restaurant. They were very tasty as long as we didn't examen them too closely!

There are a lot of animals on the streets here. I think Hayley is in heaven. She takes notice of all the dogs and I notice all the cats that look like our old cat Lola. Check out the new pictures. Next weekend we're off to Florence so we'll have some updates in about a week.
