A beautiful sunny morning

We woke to a beautiful sunny morning.... what a great day to go out and have ""a big American breakfast"...... and that's just what we did !. Winnie, Toni, Marilyn, Geoff and I all headed into downtown Rockford for breakfast at Arnies. Pancakes for me and a big American breakfast for Geoff..... Yum, We sure had a good time ! We certainly didn't need any lunch.... Winnie did herself proud too.... she tucked in and left an empty plate.
Marilyn took me shopping.... to guess where...... ? I bought enough fabric to do a "stack n wack" quilt, and home we went to get it started. Geoff also had a buying day, getting 2 new pairs of shoes at his favourite shoe shop in Rockford. He doesn't buy shoes anywhere else !
After dinner Marilyn and I went to her quilting group in Sparta (I sewed Monday night, girls! )and Tom and Geoff went looking at bloke stuff !
In the middle of all this...... Winnie, Geoff and I, got to sit out in the garden, enjoying the sun for an hour or so in the afternoon...... What a fun packed day.... never a dull moment in Rockford !
