april 22 more rainy, everyone's freaking. early to cafe coffee for dry place and read news. library more dry. then out route 3 to go north. major blockage on f3, i uturned back thru hornsby lunch kfc and 83 north there was a trooper blocking access 15k north. snaking line on the old road finally descended to brooklyn where i turned off to stumble upon tiny town. lite rain, i had to walk and had fun spruik, met donald and friends who got flag. they had sumptuous plate of seafood and white wine which i was invited to join. high calibre political discussion. later found and declined four dollar shower at marina. parkedup at boat ramp it was so dark the light came on at five! i'm desperate for some sun.
april 23 brooklyn spruik good considering how few people were there. went to gosford briefly then terrigal for fantastic carpark result. many reports of sticker sightings. rain stopped for the day. flag flying at surfclubcafe. lifeguards got stickers and gave me code for shower. when i came out one was still studying sticker. indication of sc&b's power to enthrall. read in luxury hotel bar. rain again at night.
