Miss Liberty
Much further away than I expected to be. I took a little detour to New York to visit my friend Tekau and so I could see Rent on Broadway before it is gone forever on June 1. If there is any show I have ever wanted to see it is Rent, so I got my chance3! I also bought a poster with all the cast's signatures. Old Church Among Modern Buildings
Amazing how this sity grew so high above the original buildings. Things look so modern from far away, and then you see a little church among all these modern skyscrapers... just looks like another construction site in the city, no obvious memorials or symbols of any kind. This city has definitely moved on, whether they are healed or not from such a tragedy, I don't know.
OK, time to post a couple photos and then get ready for the SuperShuttle - the next time you hear from me, I will be in South Africa! Whoohoo!
