I still had a free travelday on my seichun hiachu kippu, so today i went for some free train travel on this ticket (kippu). I visited the two most contrasting places in Japan (Nikko, the world heritage site of the old meji era and Yokohama, the most bustling city in japan), so i decided to update them also seperately. Maybe due the contrast it was an amazing day with a lot of fun. So now it's yokohama's turn. I arrived around 6 PM in Yokohama and went for a walk between the skycrapers and wel designed buildings by SANNAA, Toyo Ito and Tadao Ando. But the best was still to come...the boat terminal by FOA (foreign office Architects) for me this is one of the best and most interesting buildings ever made. As soon as I entered the building i felt the atmosphere, the building is spatial, constructive and aesthetical superb. It was an amazing experience to be able to visit this building. I sure will visit another time during the day. When i went home i passed by the yokohama stadium. I seemed like a game was going on, so i bougth a ticket and watched the very exiting baseball game between 40.000 other visitors. I was lucky, because as somebody told me it was the most exiting game of the year, Tokyo (The giants) against Yokohama (The baystars). What a day, i enjoyed every little minute of it....amazing!

mooi
hé Ruben echt mooi die verlichting van die boot-terminal! Leuke interactie met de architectuur! Zijn ze erg goed in in Japan, heb er een tentoonstelling vorig jaar over gezien in het NAI. liefs Hanneke
