tokyo 01/04-02/04

So this is it, my life for the coming months, the university complex, the campus and the route between it. As soon as i arrived at the komaba campus in the Meguro neighberhood i checked in my apartment. The best way to decribe it is 'functional', but after a few hours i transformed it into a pleasent home. I bougth some posters, plates, cooking stuff, food, and some other basic supplies. On my way i ran into this amazing bike, so i decided to buy it. After adjusting it to the proper heigth i was riding on my own bicycle towards the campus...very nice i must say. The campus is about 30 to 45 minutes from the tokadai university complex. Than i am still in the same neighberhood, can you imagine how big tokyo is. Somebody told me if i want to ride to the other side of town, i will probaly take me 2 to 3 days...pfff! Today i had the campus meeting, which was nice, i met some people from korea, indonesia, switserland, sweden, austria, australia and many other countries....so i won't be alone...haha! After the meeting i went to the tokadai campus on bicycle. It took me quite long, because the route was so nice, but also because i lost the way several times. It is so nice to just cruise around on my own bicycle through Tokyo, now i really feel how density this city actually is. The tokadai university is very big, full with cherry blossoms and many many students. I enjoyed myself to walk around. At the end i visited my professor and his labaratory where i will study. Than i went home and made myself a huge pasta...mmhh. see you!
