Lizard Island ...

So after a short stay in Cairns with Liz and Heidi I fly over to my new temporary home at Lizard Island.....working on the resort on this 700 hectare island 125km north off Cairns.... habitate of 'the Lizard' and yes they are not wrong in saying there are plenty of them..... with snorkelling amongst the giant clams and diving the cod hole all thats left really is to enjoy the atmosphere of the 5 star resort...

Its been a month already on the island which is crazy so besides working ive managed to get in some snorkelling, boating around the island and climbed mount cook.....

Watsons Cottage over at Watsons Bay..
The walk from the resort over china mans ridge to watsons takes you through the man groves and along a boardwalk until you can see the ruins of the belated Mrs Watson who funny enough was cornish...Mrs Watson fleed the island in a barrel and tragically died....
