Hi Guys,

Here is a little update of our final few days in India. After a trecherous journey back down from Darjeeling and a 5 hour train delay we arrived in Calcutta.

Calcutta despite being one of the poorer cities has plenty to offer. However due to the amount of attention we received (spot the white people) and the volume of traffic getting around was quite difficult. (Like the rest of India).

During our stay we took in several sights (pics to follow). We timed it quite well as we were there for the "Holi" the Spring Festival. This is celebrated with people spraying each other with coloured powder and water. As we found out!!

Towards the end of our stay we were lucky to be given a tour around Mother Teresa's House where orphaned and malnourished children were being cared for. This was quite special if not a little emotional.

A couple of pic's of the sunrise at Tiger Hill whilst we were in Darjeeling. We got up at 4.30am to go! On a clear day you can see Kanchenjunga the 3rd highest peak in the world and The Himalayas. It wasn't a clear day!
