Easter storm It is Easter, and the weather has turned downright wintry so we are cozy inside the farmhouse with a fire in the fireplace. We’ve ferreted out the books in the house written in English (the majority are “auf Deutsch”, probably due to many of the visitors being German guests of Dieter Lange and family). We are on a reading binge, drinking lots of coffee in the a.m., tea throughout the mid-day, and breaking out the wine around mid afternoon and into the evening. Mom has come down with a little quasi-cough/cold so we are keeping her warm and fueled up with green tea, lemon, and Courvasier (there is a nice selection of liquors on an upper shelf of the kitchen). This place is almost equally as beautiful in the winter mist, with clouds coming up the crevice of the valley, sometimes obscuring the farmhouses on the opposing hillside and with intermittent light rain. It is a relaxing day that winds us down to the pace of the countryside. We are all content and just enjoying the heck out of doing nothing.

Easter Bunny...? No! It's the Easter Boar!
Nice to see Tim taking part in the historic tradition of the mythical Boar that steals into the small villages of Italy early on Easter morning and scares the bejeebers out of the bad little children who couldn't stick to their New Year's resolutions... The weather looks fabulous... Love the misty mountain shots!
