After making our way back to Le Real Deluxe from the Vatican, we had to get over to the Sheraton Roma because this was kick off night for my business event, the Summit Conference. So we scooted out on Mom and Dad, who were staying another two nights at the B&B before flying back home, and got a cab out to the Sheraton, which is not exactly central to Rome. It’s more outlying, I guess because it’s a big conference center that has to have room for its campus. We got there and checked in, settled ourselves in long enough to get cleaned up, then went to the main ballroom for the opening night event. Great time, lots of great Italian food and an amazing seafood buffet, wine freely flowing, and dolce (dessert) that went on
