Well, I arrived in Boston last night (or rather, early this morning) at 12:30 AM, only to find that American Airlines again left my luggage at Miami Airport, which, I've decided, is a terrible transfer place! They've found it, though, and it should be delivered sometime this evening. Took a taxi to Jane and Don's, where poor, sleepy, Jane let me in. (By this time it was way after 1 am). I'm so lucky to have such nice friends who put up with my strange travel schedule!

Once again, I'm back at the Main Boston Public Library using their computers. It's a wonderful place to work. I actually got a computer to use free of charge for 2 hours!

Wanted to post some of the photos I took of my visit to Tikal before my trip comes to an end and i stop writing in my blog. I think I may have a ride up to Montreal on Friday with an MIT student (thanks to craigslist), and from there I'll get up to Quebec City. Leave for Paris from there on Sunday evening.

As this blog "rolls down", I'd like to thank everyone who's followed my adventures and

I cheated here. This is a photo of a postcard!
a special thanks to those who wrote comments or sent messages. It means a lot to hear from friends and family when you'on the road on your own.

So now, enjoy the photos!

The Jungle Lodge is one of three hotels (and supposedly the best one) that is actually in the national park of Tikal.

Just LOVE the photo of you in front of the Temple. You look so young and so happy. What an amazing place - good for you for taking on the challenge of all those steps. Have a safe journey home.
