Swing Swing Swing

Hey there from Naples. I made it through the grueling 24 hours of travelling from Athens back to Italy and now I am in Naples. I have not head out to check it all out but I am headed to Pompeii today. Last night though since I arrived around 8pm and everything was closed I came to discover that my hostel (Fabric Hostel and Club) has a night club and restaurant attatched to it. From what I could tell it seems to be the hot spot at night for not only guests of the hostel but also locals. When I first walked in I met a very nice guy named Victor Hugo (yes his mom was a fan of the french writer) from Connecticut, also travelling alone who invited me to have dinner with him. We really hit it off and ended up enjoying the live music together and he got me to swing dance with him. I was very reluctant at first but a little sangria seemed to help and I was onthe dance floor ...well we were the absolute center of attention for a good hour. It felt really silly to be dancing in the middle of the floor and have everyone back up and make room. I was a little self conscious since my swing dancing skills are a little to be desired, but at the end of it all we got a major applause and were the life of the party. I guess being in Europe by yourself makes a person do crazy things!! Anyway, me and my new dancing pal are headed to Pompeii today so i should get going.
