Yay, so this is really annoying because i was in a internet cafe yesterday, and when i had written everying about the last couple of days the computer shat itself and stupid internet stopped working and i lost it all, so im going to have to rewrite it all, which is really really annoying.
So the trains were stuffed in england for our departure, so the 2 hour window i allowed in my plans meant we only waited at airport for 1 hour, which was perfect, easyjet was a decent flight, 40 mionutes, so quick, from london to amsterdam, the flight in to land was hilarious, so ridiculously bumpy, jordie got a little airsick about then, the plane was jumping up and down and rolling sidfe to side. so silly! lol. Then we got off plane, and found the foreign language a little strange, thankfully people in touristy areas speak english, otherwise i'd be ruined! lol. We got a train from airport to centraal, thats how it is spelt, and from central tried to find our bus number 19 which after 20 minutes of waiting and trying not to get run over, a friendly english speaking bus driver informed us there was no bus 19, so instructions on my piece of paper were stupid, but he told us to get the tram, and gave us the right number1 we're staying about 20minute tram trip out of thew centre, then we found hotel, which is not a hostel, lol, and checked in then went to the pub, not exctiing, just a boring little pub that you can smoke in, they smoke everywhere here, my clothes from pub smell disgusting, need to do some washiong, bugger. so yesterday we went walking like qa million miles, we went all around the city centre, lots and lots of shops, found madame tusauds which is so much cheaper than the london one, might visit that, lots of churches too, the houses are all flats, and there are so many canals, so many! there everywhere, i dont know how they built such a city on a big floodplane, and the roads, jordie and i are going to get killed, we cant work out which direction to look, even though today we're getting a little bit more used to it, so today we decided it was suicide time, and hired a couple of bikes, and havent we had a hair raising day, nearly killed ourselves so mny time, riding on the road, on the fooptpath, on the cycleway, everywhere, and there are no helmets, and i cant turn left properly, gotta do it from middle of road, argh! last night was good, we went back to the hostel about 4, and sat around watching tv for a while, then we went out about 8 for a walk to find a new pub, and we found one that had witches hats above the door, and a cauldron behind the bar, and heaps of stuff in the windows that decorated the whole place, so we had an awesome night there! chatting to the locals that could speak english, about general crap i think, lol, Yes we saw the red light district yesterday, and i think tonight we're going to see alot more of it with travis and lex turning up in about an hour, lol, going to be absolutly insane! i'm a bit pekish right now, ... today we rode miles and miles and miles, when we decided to try and come back into the city, it took about 15 minutes of riding till i saw a sign, and we were 6km from the centre, and we'd gone out along way, and got ourselves completly lost in the suburbia bits of the city, which looks a bit ghetto ish in some places, its not a pretty city, but it does have some pretty bits in it, especially the cnals when the sun hits the water, the buildings are all cramped and i just feel so special living in sydney, you really only have a choice of living in apartments here, or if your lucky on the canal in a houseboat, that dont go anywhere, lol.. yesterday we misseed breakfast cos we slept in, today we missed a walking tour of the city cos we slept in, tomoorrow i dont think i'm going to be alive as its a friday night out for the boys, i'm going to spend to much money, i can tell already, lol, oh and the cautioning of everyone about pickpockets is incredible, i got so paranoid again, but then ive hidden my passports and some of my cash cards so i'm not taking them out to get nicked, smart ben! yes smart ben! we're staying in a 4 bedroom dorm thing at the moment, but tomorrow we have to change hotels and go to a camping hostel type place, its cheaper! but further out, and the instructions to get there are so confusing, but we''ll get there, its about 1 hour out of topwn, so i think its more country than city! i'm looking forward to vienna and actually staying in a backpackers, i want to talk desperatly to randoms, jordie and i i think have said everything we could ever say a million times to each other,. lol, im nearly out of time on this computer and i want this one to get published, so at the moment all is well, i got some more bike riding to do today, which has made my arse so sore, lol, i'm having fun, hope everyoine back home is too!

oh yes how I know this feeling of nearly getting run over - welcome to the real world buddy with cars driving on the "right" side of the road ;)
