Well our advebture has started really well, after loosing my bag things are looking up. The sun in shining and we now have our campers which we love!!! I started in Cairns, there isn't much to do in Cairns apart from shopping really which suited me for my first stop!! However thte minute we picked up our vans and moved to port douglas i realised how beautiful Australia really is, and it is sooo huge!!! we drove for 3 hours on our first day. Then went to the rainforest which was so mind blowing. We also found our own sacred fresh water creek, away from people and most of all box jelly fish and crocs. I then went to mission beach, again there was a beautiful beach and lovely restaurants and live music. Our camp sites have been really swish; swimming pools, laundry rooms CLEAN and powerful showers and large kitchens. The vans aren't too bad to sleep in, they get very hot at about 7am which we all wake up in a sweat and have to open every door possible. We are travelling in a big group, 9 of us travelling through australia. We try and have on off days of driving, so its really chilled out, we do about an hour each every 3 days so not to bad at all. Hope all ok at home, i'll keep you posted further. Im in townsville now, went to a karioke bar and club last night. Me nd pip sang dolly parton standard!! Just chilling today, taking the ferry to magnetic island tomorrow. I will keep you posted later this week. Lots of love xxxxx

Thanks George!
Well done - at least you have a fab selection of photos for a 'hungry for news Mum' to look at. You all look so beautiful, tanned and happy - so glad you are enjoying yourselves and long may it last. Hope Pip doesnt faint on you all again - thanks for looking after as she seems quite accident prone at the moment!! So sad that your grandad is so ill but he would want you to live your life and enjoy it. Lots of love Carol x
