we kept our room on until 6pm for a bargain price of £1.50 each!! not bad eh! We hit the swimming pool at the sister guest house for a day of chilling before we have our lurvelly flight home!!! Lou was brave and asked superwoman if we could have our photo with her and I told her we thought she was superwoman - we think we made her day!!! Bless, she's a lovely lady!

So a chill at the pool which was nice and then we got sorted, checked out, dumped our bags for a little while and hit Khao San Road for the last time - sob sob!! such a crazy place, anything goes and the Thai people accept anything pretty much!! it has been amazing and we can't believe it's all over!!!!

So the final story of Lou and Di goes, taxi to the airport, flight delayed 3 hours - good one. got fined 1000B for overstaying our visa by 2 days! We knew about this and it was cheaper to pay the fine rather than extend our visa but now we are really cool as we have got a "naughty stamp" in our passport - hurray!!!! I bet not everyone gets one of those eh??!! Too cool for school. Anyhow, connecting flight to MAN rebooked for later, all gravy baby. ETA MAN - 12 NOON. my bed is getting closer to me..or further away maybe! In the midst of the delay we forgot to ask for the seats we wanted completely ruining the fact we got to the airport early for that particular reason - oopsy. flight all good, had to circle heathrow for half hour before we could land due to wind - was not really that bad at all. Think this UK weather is being over rated!! then low and behold, our MAN flight is cancelled - good one British airways! Bags take 2 hours to come through, but lou's brother can now have his hammock which is always good. I think he may need it in this weather!!! so we search and we search for some help from BA and nope, no one has a clue and we get told to join a queue the length of a footabll pitch to rebook our flight for tomorrow!! We want a bus not a plane!! I want my bed sob sob!! I leave Lou in a nother queue and head to the bus station just in case and I collar the coach marshall who tells me BA had buses this morning but havent had anymore but he can call a bus for us and we will have to wait for some more people...ok coolio...we are making progress!!! So the bus comes....we wait...we wait..no people so the bus drivers boss says go for it. So me and Lou get taken to Oxford in a 49 seater coach, swapped to a car and our new driver pal Simon drives us all the way to my doorstep!! result or what?!! VIP treatment for the last stint of our trip me thinks!! So arrived home 6pm. yeee - haaaaa my own bed.

And that's the end of the adventure for me and Lou. it's been a pleasure, hope you have enjoyed the fun and the tales!! See you all soon!!
HELLO ENGLAND - I AM HOME!!! (now stop raining please)

You're Welcome!
Glad you enjoyed it! Life back in the UK is not quite as exciting I'm afraid.
