OK I am one greasy monkey right now, just had a one hour massage that seem like two ($10CAD). We took a twelve seat fast ferry from Langkawi Malaysia to Ko Lipe island in Thailand ($30 CAD). It's is a little island filled with a mix of tourist of all classes and locals that run the place along with various xpats from all over. The island is surrounded by the kind of blue green water you only see in a few of the most beautyful places on earth or in pictures. There are no cars on the island other than the scooters only riden by locals so you walk everywhere. There are many restaurants, shops, and massage places (all ligit), nothing too fancy but all good. There are many places to stay but all seem to be cabin/huts of various age and quality. It has a very laid back almost "hippy" feel to it, there is often house music playing at many of the restaurants and bars adding to that vibe. The buildings go from a few brick and morter to many make shift palm tree construction with hand painted signs all with many spelling mistakes. The island would be nothing short of perfect if it didn't have the exact same issue as Langkawi but worse, THE GARBAGE! It seems the locals do not care at all or have any concept of what a drawback there is thowing garbage everywhere including the ocean. We met an english xpat that opened a resort here recently and he says there is a budget for it but it is likely pocket by the mayor here. I think we will only spend a few days here and move on. Last night we met a Belgin/Portugese couple that now live in Spain, we got to talking for ours and closed the English xpats bar. Again we exchanged information and now we have friends in Barcelona inviting us for a visit and we did the same as usual. I will add pictures at our next location as this computer sucks and will become a frisbee if I don't get off it now.... Beer time!

Computer Cafe?
So how are you making all these posts? I assume your not carrying around a laptop are you just using internet cafes? Very cool, sorry to hear about the lack of garbage control that is one of those easy ones to get right.
