Happy Valentine's Day!

I couldn't have had a better Valentine's Day than suntanning on the beach all day, cooling off in the clear blue ocean, and drying off under the hot, hot sun. Well, I guess maybe if I had a man beside me. Oh well.

So I made it to Manly yesterday morning; it was only a short ride on the Ferry from Sydney Harbour. My hostel isn't the cleanest, but I move to a different one tomorrow and I'm hoping it doesn't reek of stale piss and sweat. And I'm hoping my grapes don't get stolen again...damn hungry backpackers.

I made it to the beach yesterday, but not for too long because it was cloudy and windy, so I did some wandering around and watched the surfers and rowers. It rained a bit this morning, but by noon, the sun was out in full force! So I was able to get a full day of "lying on the beach" in today. It was quite enjoyable and I hope to do it again tomorrow.
