Phew,

Arrived yesterday sans rucsacs - rucsacs arrived today! Louisa still manged a shopping trip though so not all bad. Apparently more tops needed!

Massive flight took absolutely ages. The food was the worst i´ve ever tasted and that includes eating cold left overs at camp america. Air con was so old it must have been built when noah (the chap with the boat not the lad from ER) was a lad. So noisy. Got stuck into pies and prejudice which is quality.

On the subject of our southern bretheren the bags were delayed due to them being left at heathrow - you do the math-s.

Buenos Aires or BA (the only city sponsored by an airline to the best of my knowledge) may be described as hectic. The drive into town was like wacky races on steroids. When approaching a barrier the custom appears to be to speed up to jump in behind the person in front. 2 marked lanes of traffic? You´ll get 3 cars in there no probs!

Hotel is class - good location. Off to the park in Palermo then to the harbour for our tea. Tough going but we´re geting used to it.

You´ll spot who wrote the first part - and a girl can never have too many tops!! I was my usual decisive self and only had to go to four shops to find ones i liked.

Really enjoying it here - the sun is out so i´m smiling. Getting used to the madness slowly although we´ll be off by the time we´re really used to it. Off now to belatedly unpack and try and persuade ian to go to the zoological bit of the park! More updates to come.
