It stormed all night. So much so that I heard the thunder while I was sleeping. Kyle and I hit the road bright and early, before everyone else, in the truck to get a head start. The rain was fairly ridiculous. Before we left, Anne asked, “So have you seen the movie Twister? That’s what to keep an eye out for.”

A small dance party broke out when we left Kentucky and entered Tennessee. Back through Nashville. There’s a sign in Nashville to Briley Parkway, and we’ve seen it like a zillion times now. Seems every drive takes us back through Music City. The girls caught up to us a few hours later, and we met for lunch. Truck drivers changed, so now Rachel is driving and I am back in the van- in the back of the back with all the luggage. I slept for a good few hours, which was really nice. New time zone… again. We cross it almost every time we go to a new city. I think we’re officially on Centern time now. Or Eastral?

I woke up in Asheville or something like that, in North Carolina, when they were trying to find the Biltmore Mansion, or something I haven’t heard of. It was closed, so we got coffee.

When we drive in the truck, we only stop when we legally have to- every 2-4 hours. Riding in the van with all these girls, we stop every hour. It takes so long to get anywhere! And we’re never on time. We always leave the hotel late and end up at the venue with lots of people waiting. Drives me nuts!

So, now we’re back in NC with the dumb trees, for a one-night-stand, then to SC tomorrow after the show!

Please be praying. Lots of kids are out sick, as well as adults. It’s taking people out left and right!
