Today is the day we´ll get ready for the upcoming hiking trip. I read some more about it and am starting to get really excited. Check this out if you´re interested:

Also, they have an event called Alasitas today, which is based on an old Inca trade tradition and so far looks like an extension of the usual daily markets (it´s still early though).

The thing that sucks about La Paz is that with the wet and cold climate nothing ever dries. I got all soaked in the rain yesterday and today my shoes and pants are still as wet as they were the day before.

The main mode of transport in La Paz seems to be these mini buses who have one guy standing at the door constantly shouting out the destinations. It seems really chaotic to me but it looks like it´s working.

Another intersting and random observation: Women really do carry their babies on their backs with these colorful fabrics like you´ve probably seen it on pictues.

Last but not least, didn´t I mention the good food the other day? Well, according to my belt, I´ve already lost most of the weight I´ve gained in the last year or so........I´ve no idea how that happened.....time to start eating lots of chocolate!!!
