T minus 3

Well it is only 3 days to the start of the journey. All of the christmas and new year preparations and celebrations are now out of the way.

It was touch and go when the Airport workers announced their strike intentions, and the past few days have seen the back up plans polished as far as they can be. Late changes to hotels and planes are now sorted, so we will soon see if we have forgot something.

It is now T4 day as we sit in Terminal 4 at Heathrow waiting for the flight. Lousy weather and cold to boot. Our first destination is Sao Paulo in Brazil and are due to arrive at 10 o'clock tonight. We will be pretty tired by the time we get there. Lindsay has just swept the duty free shops and I don't know what she has bought but it adds an extra bag to the luggage! I guess she thinks there are porters on this trip!
