Hello

As most of you know I thought the best way of keeping everyone up-to-date of my whereabouts and what I have been up to while I am away was to do a blog. This is my first 'serious' entry so apologies to anyone expecting a professional account of my trip.

I will try to add pictures as I go but I will be reliant on the electricity supply in Ghana so please be patient !!

I guess the best piece of news for all of you is that you can un subscribe from the updates if they become too tedious , the power is at your fingertips !!

Happy new year to everyone and please keep in touch.I am sure I will miss you more than you miss me !!

That's the middle of the night!!
Wow, I've never known you get up so early for work, but there again you're having fun now and playing football. Glad to hear that you got everything through with you. It's very quiet here without you so keep blogging, it's just like having you back in the office. Did you know there was a family sitting at that table......... Take care - we miss you already! Kate

To all blog readers !!!
There have been a lot of readers who are obviously moved by the plight of the people of Ghana and Africa in general. There is something everyone can do that would make a real difference to individual families and that is sponsorship. My hubby and I have been sponsoring a girl in Nicaragua for eight years. It only costs £18 a month and we write to each other and also get a progress report once a year with recent photos etc. Just a thought for anyone who wanted to do a little something practical. We sponsor through 'Plan' but there are other organisations who do the same thing. Anyway, well done sis' for sticking with it, see you soon, Vicky.x.
