So far my experience of Tokyo is like being in New York City for the first time, but by yourself, and you cant read anything nor talk to anyone for help. The directions I had to my hotel were horrible, and it took me awhile to get a cab flagged down (ok maybe that part isnt like New York). I had two maps, but they were almost useless to me, but not to my cabdriver cause he took the paper and found the place for me.
I dont get internet w/ my laptop so I have to use the computer in the lobby. Not that bad, just means that I wont have any pics up until after I leave Tokyo. The day before Christmas is when I move on to Kyoto. But first I need to figure my way around Tokyo first. Very confusing, and taxi rides can get pretty expensive. Ill prolly wake up early tomorrow and plan everything out in great detail. So, as for now Im not sure what I want to do tomorrow 😊 but I have a list of things Im going to do, mostly take a shower.
Sooo after 14+ hrs on the plane, 20min. waiting in the train station, 1+hr on the train, and over an hour walking around looking for my hotel, Im ready to call it a day... or is it two? Cause I crossed over the international date line. Whatever... I think Im going to find some yummy quick food, and then get to bed! I love that my cell phone gets NO service (meaning I cant even use my alarm, cause theres no clock), and there is no alarm clock in my room! But it doesnt matter.. cause Im here! Yay Im finally in Japan!!
