Furama Riverfront Hotel

OMG! I’m excited now! We are up in the air and I can see beautiful clear blue skies . Haha Mark, I just got given a heated towel on this flight. Just looked @ the movie line up and we have The Bourne Ultimatum and a few other good ones… I hope the food is better than Malaysia airlines… Oh and thanks for the stuff Phil it was REALLY appreciated but not needed! (haha). So for those people, who don’t know of my crazy morning, let me recap… I was supposed to wake up @ 6 (Ooo the TVs are working!) so yeah, my alarm didn’t go off and I woke up at 8 and I had to leave at 9 and I hadn’t finished packing yet!!!! So it was a bit of mayhem (I doesn’t seem that ive forgotten anything yet…) for a while. Jess, Mark and Phil came along (thanks guys it was really nice of you to find time in your busy schedules, haha) Oo!! Just got the menu for the food on the plane, it sounds good, ‘baked chicken and vegetable lasagne with tomato sauce’ or ‘braised beef in Chinese wine five-spices with vegetables and steamed rice’. So where was I? Oh, I forgot to mention that I lost my keys!! So I couldn’t give them to jess and I looked EVREYWHERE!!! With no avail . But most things went smoothly at the airport apart from me leaving my duty free sunnies in Phil’s car (gasp!) but now I can finally wear them, yay! It’s going to be a long flight (Oo! I can get Smirnoff Vodka on the flight…) but it will be well worth it, I’ve got great company and it will be fun.

Looks like im documenting this place trip for you… Just got peanuts, I don’t like them but I ate them anyway and now I’m sooo thirsty so I got a vodka and OJ, haha. My first alcoholic drink on a place, yay! And jeez it is strong! Blaa, I think what Luke told me about altitude and being on planes getting you more drunk may have to be tested…nah for Kristina sake I wont, haha. Just chatted to the lady next to me! You would be proud Mark. She is flying to Spain and she has been to Thailand before, haha. Oh, I forgot to say that we did end up getting a window seat…

The lady next to me is Spanish! (Jess you would like that, haha) but if flying over for a conference, her husband is from NZ and they wont be together for Xmas.

Moving out of the way for someone or even trying to go to the toilet is a pain in the ass… I want food!

You guys should check out the film called Invasion, its like the end of the world, virus Resident Evil kind of movie.. It has Nicole Kidman and David Craig in it, its ok.

OMG! Just spilt juice on the lady next to me down here jeans!!! Lucky she’s sleeping so hopefully she wont notice….

It’s so cold!!! Mark and Luke would love it here! And im sore and full from all the food and ice cream, I need to sleep…

The plane is leaving Australian now, we are directly above Port Headland heading towards Indonesia @ 10363m altitude with 3.10 to go till we arrive in Singapore.

And im playing Super Mario All Stars, how sad, only less than 2 hours to go on this plane, well only 1.5 hours to be exact and more food is coming .

Ok, so we have finally made it to Singapore and let me start off with the positives. The hotel is REALLY nice, very shiny and new, a nice pool, gym, tennis court, golf putting area, ballroom and a night club next door, etc. The bad? Well it’s stuck next to the Holiday Inn, the Miramar and some other hotel called the Capthorne (not spelt right…) I suppose you don’t know what that mean?? I explain it to you, it bloody richville!!! All we wanted was something to eat and all we found everywhere was stuff that was way to expensive for us. We were lucky enough to have a 7/11 near by so we went in there and bought some stuff. And the air is SO humid here! But tomorrow we are off to Orchard Road, which is the ULTIMATE place to shop in Singa’s.

p.s. I’m off to bed now, its 12.23am in Australia on Thursday night which is 9.53pm here. Haha.
Ahh I’m so tense, where are you jess when I need you?? .

We Miss You - naaaw
It sounds like you had a good plane flight... so funny about the OJ, did she even notice? AND!!!! Mark found your keys, hooray! They'd fallen down the side of the fold-out bed. Can't wait to hear about the actual trip! If a blog about the plane trip and hotel is interesting, how good will the rest be? :-P We all miss you, as much as Mark says we don't, keep having fun!
