We decided to go up to King's Park today which is a massive park on the outskirts of Perth but it is higher up so it has amazing views of the city and the Swan river - we were not disappointed! It was a lot hotter today I am pleased to tell you which was nice!

We walked up there and as we were walking into the park you could see across the city and for miles! People were doing Yoga on the grass - not a bad start to a morning eh?! We headed for the Lottery West Federation Walkway, this is like a short walk through the tree tops with amazing views accross the bridges! Got a bit snap happy! We carried on through the memorial water garden for women which displays how women have contributed to the growth of Western Australia and headed for the DNA tower which is 101 steps and 15m high. It is built in the structure of DNA, spiral stairs that you twist round each other going up so there are 2 ways of getting up and down the stairs. Also even better views from up there!! You could see really far and could see the rest of Kings Park walk, lovely jubily!

The whole Park is absolutley spotless and well looked after. There's picnic areas and BBQ's people can use. It's all in pristine condition! We went through the Botantical Gardens and chilled for a bit, ate our picnin sandwich for lunch! There were a lot of ducks and crows that were not shy. One crow came right up to me, eyeballing me and my sandwich, then went and ate a bug off the grass...but he came bacckkk and wanted more..needless to say he didn't get it!! We also had a duck circling us, waiting for some bread - used to getting fed me thinks!

We headed back to city life after while, we got the CAT bus which is one of the free buses they puton around the city centre over here. they are so good. perth is very walkable but if you dont have the time or the energy, its great! It's the first time we have been on them but went for a little tour around! We went passed the WACA stadium which I have just googled - see Bex - I am still googling! - and it is the Western Australia Cricket Association so there we go!

Lou spotted London Court on the map so we decided to take a peak! It's one small and fairly short alley way which has been done up to have traditional english shops and the decor and brick work of traditional London! It was really nice and quaint! We went for a potter about then headed back to get packed up. And what a surprise....Snozzy was snoozing when we got in the room!! hilarious!! Got an early start down the south tomorrow so will probably update once were back in Perth! Ciao for now! xxx
