Last day in Bangkok

It's our last day in Bangkok. Well last full day. We woke up early this morning and caught the train to Chatuchak Markets about 8.30am. Lucky we went early! We left around 2pm and it was packed! Apparently 200,000 people visit each day! All without airconditioning! I started to feel a little light-headed after a while. The markets are crowded, packed together tightly and have everything for sale! Clothes, handicrafts, shoes, food, live animals, pet supplies, etc etc. Todd & I bought a few souvenirs and some clothing.

Heading out to MBK soon. We think it's much better than Chatuchak. MBK is a massive shopping centre filled with cheap markets. Lots of gadgets, phones, electronics, clothes, handbags and shoes. Also lots of food and regular stores. Before we go to MBK we're going to pick up our custom made suits/shirts in Nana. Fingers-crossed my suit fits well. I had a fitting yesterday and my suit was way too big. Todd picked his suit up yesterday and it fit perfectly. Very well done!

Tonight, after the suit pickups and MBK shopping, Todd & I will probably stay in. Probably order room service again. Very addictive and so cheap. We will be packing all our new stuff into our suitcases. We have an early pick up tomorrow at 5.30am for an 8.05am flight back to Sydney. I am looking forward to coming home!!! Shopping and holidays were great but now we're very very tired ! 😊

Big suits in Thailand
maybe they just dont get it that women suits are meant to be fitted. Mine was about 2 sizes too big too and the tailor was trying to tell me that he's a suit maker and he knows what he's talking about..that there's nothing wrong with how it fits! urrgh! ended up in an argument with him...was a v unpleasant experience.
