Costa Rica... Let's see, I tried to leave the first time in 2004, but I came back. Then I lived in Nicaragua and in Honduras, and of course, after both, returned to Costa Rica. I then visited the Dominican Republic to see about moving there, but it wasn't Costa Rica. This last time was a record for me. I left for a few months and traveled to the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Florida and fulfilled a dream to cross the Atlantic Ocean on a boat and visited Bermuda, Spain, France and Italy... but you guessed it, I came back to Costa Rica, just for a visit.... I left once more saying I will come back next year in 2008 and after only 4 weeks away from Costa Rica, I again decided to move back.

Early this week I also saw a giant Leatherback sea turtle spalshing around on the surface with a male Green sea turtle. One fo the most amazing and strangest things I have ever seen! scientists have been making numerous trips to the area in hopes to learn the extent of the damage and the cause. I lam so happy to be able to combine my passion for diving, science and conservation!
Happy New Year to everyone!
