Right now baby an I are cooing and kissing faces. Before I fed him, I had to suck snot out of his nose because he couldn't really breathe and he has this awful cough...poor struggling baby. I was supposed to be in charge while the recent team of volunteers was here this week, so that he wouldn't be exposed to even more germies...so one day I held him in the cloth baby wrap from 8:something or 9AM until 10/10:30PM. Fabulous. I'm even holding him now as I type!
I'm online so late at night right now because we haven't had internet at the house in a while, so I waited while Amanda got caught up on some of her internet stuff, and my turn began at 12:30AM, which I don't mind, since baby is in such bad shape...
aww he's staring in my eyes again...I think he is 2 months old, now. Such an easy baby. Smiles a lot. Only cries when he's hungry or sometimes when he needs his diaper changed...
Well...
when the internet was down, there were many times every day when something would happen and I'd think of a great blog title for it and then I'd get sad and remember I couldn't get online...
I haven't sunburned since the day I went cliff jumping.
Went to Dunns River Falls and Glistening Waters yesterday with the team for their day off. On the boat ride, Amanda and I sang Bob Marley songs with our rasta tour guide. yay! We swam in phosphorus water that literally lights up like it's glowing wherever you touch it. We had to tread water like crazy...if you stand with all your body weight, you sink into the silky, muddy bottom up to your knees...
Ever since the pillow incident with one of the older girls, she hasn't been disrespectful to me at all!
I love eating conch! I've had it curried and in squash soup. Delicioso.
I took different kids to the doctor 3 times in 2 weeks. Waited 2 hours, 3-4 hours, and 2 hours. The receptionists know me now haha.
I made sweet potatoes and yams for Thanksgiving! yum...with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, dried coconut, dried papaya, craisins, dried pineapple, almonds and cashews. "yes mon."
Took the preschoolers to the beach for a field trip today. Even got to bring our boy who has cerebral palsy.
Gonna ride a donkey tomorrow!
Cell phone battery is dying-time to post this and get offline. Baby is coughing again. buggar.

keep in touch, friends and fam! I miss and love you, "fo' choo"

baby is happy despite sneezing and all...
sleep time now...maybe??

Stina, that sounds so amazing. I'm so glad that you're there, you're doing what you love. I'll be praying for all the sick kids, and you. I'm so jealous of you, I haven't even talked to a kid in months! I miss all my nieces and nephews and the kids at my church. Sorry it took me this long to comment on your blog, homework has been crazy!
