After meeting some affluent Brazillian girls in Rio...Jake and Craig travelled 17 hours on a bus to Londrina. We arrived at 2am thursday morning...just the 3 hours late! The girls were waiting all night...but were happy to see us when we finally arrived. We spent three days living the typical Brazillian lifestlye. We went to see a Brazillian Indie band on our first night while the second night was spent in a place that can only be described as a cross between a bar, restaurant and a club. Both were different from any night we have had in England but very enjoyable and we were happy to spend a genuine Brazilian night on the tiles.

The days were spent visiting friends and family of Carla, Kez and Sue and constantly eating and or drinking. On our final day we got to taste some traditional Brazilian food. This was black beans (not like from a chinese), with pork, rice and vinegarette salad.

Londrina (Little London) was a different world from Rio and in many ways similar to any small city in England. Anyone that overheard us talking or was introduced to were very happy to talk to us, however good their english. We were both sad to leave and could have easily spent more time with the girls and their hospitable folks.

We left saturday night on an 8 hour bus ride to Sao Paulo to meet Mr Rowe and catch our flight to Argentina, which for the record, was delayed.

We didnĀ“t have a camera with us but some shots taken by the girls will be emailed to us shortly and attached to this blog post for your viewing pleasure.
