well we flew into cancun around 130pm got assaulted by different shuttle companies offering to give us a ride. finaly after having a smoke we got on the shuttle/taxi with 2 other guys and it droped us off at our hostel. droped off our bags and went out to find a place for a bite to eat. ended up in a sports bar (or how they call it sport bar) that were offering 3 beers for 4 dollars which sounded good to us but the food looked a little iffy. we had a few rounds they stumbled in search for a legit place to eat. we found a nice mexican restaraunt and had chick fried tacos. after the meal we were exhausted from only sleeping around 3 hours so we passed out around 830pm. the next morning we had the free continental breakfast and got on a bus to the beach. ended up in playa tortugas having coronas on the beach and yes i know its very cliche. got back to the hostal and realized it was only 130pm and we had nothing to do for the rest of the day so we went for a walk. not much to see in downtown cancun so we went back to the hostal ate and went back to the sports bar and drank till 1130pm. got back to the room and met our new roomate who just woke up from a 4 hour nap lol. he was a funy guy from ireland and was on his way to cuba. we chated till we all hit the sack a few hours later. we all woke up the next day at the same time and headed down for breakfast. afterwards we went back to the room me and mike packed up said our goodbyes to our new buddy exchanged emails in case we are in the same country in south america at the same time. then we walked to the bus station to catch our first bus. a second class bus to chetumal. we made it just in time for a 10 o clock departure. we got in the nice empty bus and were on our way for a 7 hour bus ride. yeah it wasnt that much fun. we got into chetumal at 5pm grabed a cab and got to our hostal in a pretty poor part of chatumal but the hostel itself is very nice and the lady who runs it is awsome. and there is a great big dog walking around here as well. me and mike just finished a marathon game of scrabble (which i won haha) and we are going to bed tomorrow we are gonna see some manatees (mike really wants to see em).
